Description
Try this quick and easy peach cobbler with cake mix for a delicious, fuss-free dessert that everyone will love.
Ingredients
- Yellow Cake Mix: The star of the show! The mix gives you a buttery, golden crust with minimal effort.
- Canned Peaches in Syrup: These are a lifesaver when you don’t have fresh peaches on hand. Don’t drain them; the syrup adds sweetness and moisture to the dish.
- Unsalted Butter: Melted butter helps the cake mix form a crust as it bakes.
- Ground Cinnamon: Optional, but a sprinkle of cinnamon adds a warm, cozy flavor that pairs beautifully with peaches.
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F so it’s ready when the step is next.

The mixer must combine the dry cake mix with melted butter until they reach a crumbly stage. (Some recipes omit this step, but mixing it guarantees that no dry patches will appear on your cobbler.)

In a 9 by 13-inch pan, pour your canned peaches. Proper sweetness and juiciness are achieved by draining one can and keeping the syrup in the other. Spread the peaches over the bottom of the dish.

Lightly sprinkle ground cinnamon and cornstarch over the peaches. Use a spoon or spatula to mix until everything is evenly coated. This step helps thicken the peach filling and adds a warm, spiced flavor.

Round the cake batter and the sliced butter toppings as much as possible and then, using a spreader or your fingers, spread the toppings evenly around the fruits.
Thereafter, place the dish in the oven that has been preheated to an adequate temperature and allow it to bake inside for about 40-50 minutes. Around the end of the 40 minutes, take a peek to see if the top is a lovely golden brown with the edges of the peach filling bubbling. If it is not quite there yet, give it an additional 5-10 minutes.

Once your cobbler is out of the oven, let it cool for about 10 minutes. This might be the hardest part, but it’s essential to give the fruit filling a chance to set before servin
